The program

The program spanned five days, each one focusing on a specific theme aligned to the most pressing frontiers of knowledge. Discussions ranged from fusion and quantum computing to AI in healthcare and the space revolution. Diverse in scope, every conversation was anchored in scientific evidence and the principles of openness and collaboration.

Speaking on the success and impact of the Top 10 Emerging Technologies report, Frederick Fenter, Chief Executive Editor of Frontiers, reflects on the importance of science in shaping the conversations that define our future. Looking back at Davos in 2025, Fenter explains why Frontiers Science House was created: science was not participating in key discussions as vigorously and rigorously as it could. The result was a new space designed to put science at the center of the global agenda and back into the conversations with political leaders, business leaders, policy experts, and diplomats. Dalian marks the first stop on the Frontiers Science House roadshow, with further stops planned in UN General Assembly, Falling Walls, and at COP31.
